In the past few weeks I have entered a new envirement.
With this new envirement I have encountered several fun experiences.
Last weekend I went to a dance-a-thon on Friday night and learned how to swing dance. It was really cool. I did not expect to have as much fun as I did. I went with some of my new friends from on my hall. I like the whole idea of a dorm how if you want to go do something with a friend you don't have to call a friend as ask if they want to do something. All you have to do is go next door and ask if they want to do something.
I have been trying to keep up with and do most of the social things that have been going on on campus. One thing I am really looking forward to doing is being in a tribe. I am not sure which one I want to be in. The whole rush process starts this week. I am looking forward to this because it is a way of meeting new people. I came to Mississippi College not knowing anyone so I really have to go out and meet people.
My intended major is Graphic design. So this weekend I came home to Mobile, Alabama to get the things I need for my art class. I really enjoyed being home this weekend because it gave me the chance to get all my things together. I also enjoyed watching the Alabama football game with my family. My grandmother who has been sick but now she is doing better came over and watched the game with us.

That is so great that you are enjoying college and your not afraid to get out and do stuff. I only watched the dance marathon, because I cannot dance to save my life. But it was fun all the same. I enjoyed reading your blogg, keep up the interesting stories.
Im glad you're enjoying dorm life, but watch out it could back fire. But it is nice to have friends so close. Its a good way to meet new people
Enjoyed your blog even though I am the complete opposite. In high school I had my pals where we did every crazy thing imaginable. But now not so much. I mainly stay in the dorm on the comp or XBox besides a few workouts here and there
I'm excited about tribes, too. I don't know which one I want to choose, either. It's nice having your friends nearby, especially on your same hall. I'm glad you live next door to me. It's very convenient and always nice to have someone to go to the Caf with (to name a few reasons)!!
Its amazing all the different experiences you can have at college...I'm referring to the swing-thing...that was fun huh?Enjoyed reding your blog...
